PPC Welcomes New Marketing Director

Press release from the issuing company

SPRINGFIELD, MA - The Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) recently announced that Nicole Miller has joined the association’s staff as Director of Marketing & Communications.

Bringing more than 18 years of graphic design, marketing, advertising, and trade show experience to the PPC team, Miller has lead numerous outreach campaigns that have expanded brand awareness, increased web traffic, and delivered first-page rankings on top search engines such as Google and Bing. Prior to coming on board with PPC, Miller served as Marketing Manager for a New England-based managed IT services and technology consulting firm where she harnessed her strategic marketing skills to rebrand the firm, expand into new markets, and ultimately attract one of the firm’s largest clients. Miller holds a BS in Business Management from Lesley University.

As Director of Marketing & Communications at PPC, Miller will oversee the association’s outreach initiatives, targeted not only at current and potential members, but also at the general consumer and packaging markets at large. She will spearhead key programs such as TICCIT, the North American Paperboard Packaging Competition, and the University Outreach Program, and will also facilitate PPC’s Marketing, Sustainability, and Rigid Box committees.

“I’m excited to work with PPC,” said Miller. “I have already begun to map out our marketing objectives for 2016 and beyond.”

“I am thrilled to welcome Nicole to the PPC team,” said Ben Markens, PPC President. “Her skills and expertise will certainly help to generate value for our members while spreading our name far and wide.”

Nicole may be reached at [email protected] or 413-686-9193. For more info on PPC’s marketing and outreach initiatives, visit paperbox.org
