Press release from the issuing company
Pioltello – Nava Press has today announced that its new Heidelberg Speedmaster XL106 LE UV is now installed and fully operational. The new press allows Nava Press to offer its customers a broader range of printed products and increase production capacity for its core market sector - luxury goods.
Demand for print in the luxury sector is high and companies are looking for reliable print partners that can deliver superior productivity, guaranteed quality, and products that will differentiate theirs from the competition.
“Nava Press customers appreciate the print quality of the Speedmaster XL106 LE UV,” says Luca Nesi, Nava Press Plant Manager. “The new machine enables us to execute a high-end product in full compliance with quality standards, thanks to the Inpress colour control system. We have already produced numerous jobs for the luxury and fashion sector on this new system, but the productivity is so high that we still have capacity to manage new business.”
The Speedmaster XL106 LE UV has entered the production cycle of Nava Press working in three shifts. This significant investment along with the HP Indigo 7800 Digital Press, installed at Nava Press in April, are the first following the company’s acquisition by Rotolito Lombarda. The investments demonstrate Rotolito’s commitment to upholding Nava Press’ high standards of quality and service, recognised by customers as the company’s key competitive advantage.
“The beauty of a catalogue should be in line with that of the product it represents,” explains Nesi. “If the product itself is a luxury product, the catalogue must also be exclusive. This ethos at Nava Press has given us a leading position in the printing market. Our customers’ have very exacting standards for quality, refinement of materials and particularly high-quality finishes, and we consistently meet these requirements. Our highly skilled technical and commercial staff are able to support customers from design through to the finishing.”
Nava Press’ production cycles comprise several stages, from file processing to product printing and packing. The company’s comprehensive production site operates cutting-edge equipment that enables Nava Press to meet the environmental standards required by major brands and provide high quality print and special processing.
Nava Press is a long-standing Heidelberg partner. The company’s entire fleet of sheet-fed offset presses in Milan are Heidelberg technology. In addition, the latest machine installed at its Via Breda site is a fully-configured Heidelberg Speedmaster XL106 6LX3 LE (6 colours and in-line varnishing), that can use both UV and LE UV (Low Energy) inks as well as conventional inks.
