Midland Specialty Paper & Film Achieves Third Consecutive Year of 50%+ Growth

WHEELING, IL – Midland Paper, Packaging + Supplies, one of North America's largest independent distributors of media for business communications, is pleased to announce that its Specialty Paper & Film Division has recently completed its 3^rd consecutive year of double-digit growth in 2015.  Over the 3 year period ended December 31, 2015, Midland’s Specialty Paper & Film Division has achieved a compound annual growth rate in excess of 70%.

Fiscal 2015 was particularly exciting year for Midland’s Specialty Paper & Film Division.  In September 2015, Midland acquired Shaughnessy Paper based out of St Louis, MO.   “Shaughnessy is a solid company that has great people and strong relationships with its suppliers and customers.  They are certainly ahead of the game on the Wide and Grand Format Graphics side of the business.  I am very excited about leveraging their leadership in this market sector in 2016 and beyond for our Specialty Paper & Film group,” said Mike Graves, Midland’s President and COO.
