BALTIMORE - Vertis Communications, a premier provider of targeted print advertising and direct marketing solutions to America's leading retail and consumer services companies, announced today that Jeff Pritchett has been promoted to vice president, finance and treasurer.

Pritchett joined Vertis in 2007 as vice president, financial planning and analysis. The promotion comes on the heels of the October 2008 completion of Vertis' financial restructuring and merger with American Color Graphics.

"Jeff demonstrated outstanding leadership throughout the entire process," said Barry Kohn, Vertis' chief financial officer. "The prepackaged plans of reorganization resulted in a reduction of $1 billion in debt and the amount of effort required to complete the transactions was tremendous. Jeff's dedication to Vertis over the last year has been exceptional. He has also been instrumental in the integration of two printing industry leaders and this promotion is well deserved."

Prior to joining Vertis, Pritchett held leadership positions in finance, mergers and acquisitions and treasury at Delphi Corporation. He also served in key finance roles at General Motors and Hewlett Packard.
