Xplor Rounds out Board of Directors with Long Time Xplor Member Carr

Torrance, CA (June 21, 2004) – Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, today announced the appointment of Kemal Carr, president of Madison Advisors, to its board of directors. The position, which replaces the opening left by Skip Henk when he assumed the role of president and CEO of Xplor, brings industry guidance and relevance to the association’s board.
“We are excited to have someone of Kemal’s caliber on Xplor’s board,” said Henk, president and CEO of Xplor International. “As a long time member and supporter of the association, we look forward to Kemal’s expertise, his ability to help grow the association, and lend industry guidance.”
Carr has been a member of Xplor since 1996 and an active in the association, local chapters, through committees, and Xplor’s annual global conference as a featured speaker. He is currently president and principal analyst for Madison Advisors, an industry research, and consulting firm that provides project-based advisory services designed to assist clients with business strategy and technology selection decisions. Prior to forming Madison Advisors in 2001, Kemal held various system roles including three years with the industry analyst group at Doculabs and seven years in the systems company of Fidelity Investments. Kemal has B.B.A., in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the University of Wisconsin and an M.B.A. candidate in marketing/management from Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, Texas.
