Las Vegas, Nevada, January 15, 2009: Las Vegas Color Graphics, Inc. (LVCG) recently completed the installation of its new Komori 40" 8-color UV perfector press, bringing UV technology to the Las Vegas market. This technology adds to LVCG's service offerings and strengthens its position as a leading integrated printing and mailing services provider in the Las Vegas market and nationwide.
"Previously, customers who wanted UV technology were often required to go outside of the state of Nevada. We are pleased to offer this capability to the Las Vegas market," said Larry Scheffler, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of LVCG. "We are committed to providing our customers with the most advanced and cost-effective printing solutions available. The Komori 40" 8-color UV perfector press provides more options and efficiency for our customers and their design partners."
The new Komori press, the first of its kind in the world, will expand the Company's already extensive range of specialty services to include printing with 100% UV inks and the capability to use either UV or Aqueous coating on both sides simultaneously. In addition, the press will have the ability to print on exotic substrates such as plastics and foil boards. The state of the art press represents increased off-set printing capacity and capabilities available to serve the Company's nation-wide customer base.
"The very creative management team at LVCG provided Komori their vision of what a new printing press needed to be in order to maintain their lead in the ultra competitive Las Vegas printing market," said Dan Quenzer, District Sales Manager for Komori America. "Working together on the design, they have received the highest level dedicated UV perfector press we have ever produced. The capabilities of this machine are enormous, including every automation, color control, and quality checking device we offer. We are honored to have been chosen by LVCG to provide this press and are very pleased to be a part of their continuing growth and success."
