PARSIPPANY, N.J. – Sun Chemical has strengthened its portfolio of Streamline^® solvent-based inkjet inks for the North American market with the addition of a high print quality/low odor seven color ink series and a low odor upgrade to one of its ink systems. 

Sun Chemical now offers its Streamline ESL 2 range of eco-solvent inkjet inks for the North American market. The latest addition to the Streamline product line to use the HPQ-LO (High Print Quality-Low Odor) eco-solvent chemistry platform, offers a significant advantage for printers working in confined environments. The seven color ink series includes CMYK with a revised nickel-free yellow ink, light cyan, light magenta and a new light black ink. 

Perfectly color-matched to the Roland Eco Sol Max II ink series, the Streamline ESL 2 inks eliminate the need for re-profiling when converting from the original inks. Furthermore, ESL 2 inks offer excellent outdoor durability, can be intermixed with the Roland inks to allow for easy transition without any waste, and give superior resistance to alcohol when printed on suitable media, ensuring customer graphics maintain the highest quality over time. 

Sun Chemical has also upgraded its Streamline Ultima HPQ product line with Streamline Ultima HPQ LO inkjet inks. Designed for Mimaki eco solvent printers, the Streamline Ultima HPQ LO now combines the highest print quality with low odor properties, ideal for printers working in confined spaces.

The Streamline Ultima HPQ product line has a very high print quality that exceeds OEM product performance in many cases and also features excellent adhesion to a wide range of media commonly used in the sign and graphics markets such as photo labs, digital print shops, exhibition printers, graphic art bureaus, sign shops, screen printers, repro houses and commercial printers. The Streamline Ultima HPQ product line has been carefully matched to the original products for both color shade and strength as well as physical properties, enabling customers to continue to use all the existing settings when converting from the original inks.
