DGR Graphics GmbH based in Espelkamp, Germany was the first manufacture who designed very unique ShortRun – SingleCopy Softcover and Hardcover book production equipment line without make ready parts and zero set up time.

We are proud to say that DGR has now entered the photo book industry successfully with their equipment line and added a new casing-in line especially designed for the needs in this delicate market. 

The new ShortRun and Single Copy Casing-in E.31

This new designed casing-in E.31 operates without book splitter and wingto avoid marks on very sensitive books pages like photo books.

It allows the processing of special products; freshly bound books, precise casing-in of thin books with square back and can make the production more efficent in SingleCopy or ShortRun mode. 

The DGR E.31 has no make-ready parts and extreme short change over time like the rest of the DGR family.

Just recently one of the largest photo book production plants in Europe has added two DGR E.31 casing-in lines successfully inline with the fully automatic three-knife trimmer D.09.
