Featuring a Comprehensive Line of Responsible Papers: FSC Certified and Made Carbon Neutral, with 100% PCW Recycled Materials and Wind Power
Cohoes, NY – Mohawk, North America’s largest privately-owned manufacturer of fine papers, envelopes and specialty substrates for commercial and digital printing, announces a redesigned swatchbook for its Loop product line.
Seventh in a series of new Mohawk swatchbooks, the Loop swatchbook has been designed to make the paper specification process clearer, easier and more inspirational for designers, printers, stationers and paper enthusiasts.
Mohawk Loop is a comprehensive collection of extremely high post-consumer waste recycled papers developed to support sustainable design and to reduce the impact on the environment without sacrificing print performance.
All papers in the Mohawk Loop portfolio are made with PCW recycled fiber using renewable energy. The papers are FSC and Green Seal Certified,
Green-e Windpower and carbon neutral, and available in a range of print surfaces and a palette of whites, pastels, jewel tones and earthy fibered shades.
The diverse portfolio of Mohawk Loop papers is selected and used by environmentally responsible designers and brands across North America.
This new resource is a paper specifier’s dream with a Quick Spec section which provides a quick, organized overview of colors, finishes and weights available within the paper grade. Following is a Browse section, which allows users to dive deeper into the specification process to identify finish, shade and weight. Each waterfall within Browse contains information about available colors and weights, including one sample of every shade available within each finish. A Details section contains in-depth paper information and specific printing resources.
The Loop swatchbook was designed by Hybrid Design of San Francisco, CA, and produced by Fey Printing, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. To order a copy, paper specifiers can contact their local paper merchants or place an order from Mohawkconnects.com.
Companion Piece: Mohawk Maker Quarterly
The recently released seventh issue of the Mohawk Maker Quarterly is printed on Loop, and designed to be a companion piece to the new Loop Swatchbook.

To demonstrate the beauty and range of options available within the Mohawk Loop grade, the Maker Quarterly features 32 printed pages on a variety of paper colors and finishes, including:
The publication’s finished size is 9.75 inches x 13.25 inches, and features short sheets (7. 2 inches x 13.25 inches) showcasing beautiful colored papers including Mohawk Loop Smooth, Restful Blue, Mohawk Loop Smooth, Citrus Green, Mohawk Loop Antique Vellum, Urban Grey and a pull-out poster designed by Tad Carpenter Creative, printed on Mohawk Loop Smooth, Birch.
