Press release from the issuing company
Braunschweig, Germany – locr GmbH (www.locr.com), the leading provider for geo-based marketing services, announced today that they are a sponsor of this year’s XMPie Users Group Conference, taking place 25th - 28th October in Miami, Florida. At the event, locr will highlight their partnerships with XMPie, and will demonstrate how geo-based solutions like GEOservices and personalized maps can create more successful marketing campaigns.
The XMPie Users Group is an organization of XMPie users working to ensure the community has the tools and information needed to grow variable data solutions and develop effective marketing campaigns. Their three-day User Conference is part of that effort, bringing together XMPie customers, partners, suppliers and executives for a program full of educational content in three tracks: Technical, Design and Business.
At the User Conference, locr will show XMPie users how their location-based services can leverage that expertise to improve their marketing campaigns, including:
GEOservices
GEOservices provide valuable location data a marketer can add to their direct mail campaign. GEOservices can assign travel time or distance from the recipient’s address to the address of a business. GEOservices can also be used to generate personalized turn-by-turn directions from the recipient to the location of a business or destination. If a business has more than one location, GEOservices can detail the locations that are closet to the recipient.
Personalized Maps
Personalized maps give marketers a way to add a personalized image to their direct marketing campaigns. These maps can detail the route a customer would take to visit a business, and can also include logos or icons to show the multiple locations of a business in a community.
Randy Hardy, North American Representative at locr, says, “The XMPie Users Group is a dedicated group of users focused on learning and improving their businesses. That’s why we are pleased to once again be a part of this annual event. We look forward to helping these users understand how locr’s services can support them in their effort to create better and more successful campaigns for the clients they serve.”
