On 24th September the FM Brooks team hosted the InPrint Industrial Print Development Forum at MiCo in Milan. The aim of the event was to continue to provide access to insight, sharing knowledge and developing the InPrint Show for its first outing in Italy, which takes place 15-17 November 2016.
50 delegates took part in the forum. In addition to content delivered by Co-Founders Marcus Timson and Frazer Chesterman the programme features sessions by Giorgio Magistrelli (CECIMO), Jonathan Wake (Bespoke), Mark Ritchie (Xaar) all focusing on 3D printing as well as sessions on digital textile printing from Paolo Crespi (For.Tex) and Giovanni Rossi (Epson) and Christoph Builliard of Sensient.
“This event is an important part of the development of the InPrint Show to provide us with a platform with which to showcase innovation and discuss key areas of development both for the show itself and for the industrial printing.” Says Frazer Chesterman.
Delegates heard some key facts about the developing industrial print sector as well as focal points for the sector within the Lombardy region which is a key manufacturing region in Italy as well as a crucial design and innovation centre for inkjet.
Frazer continues, “Interest from both the Italian market and international markets in the InPrint Show in Milan have provided inspiration to exhibitors and to us as the organisers. Exhibitors have already booked space ahead of the Munich show as they are taking advantage of the special founder rate we have in place and their confidence is high.”
Marcus Timson concluded, “The Munich show in November 2015 is already a great success with over 50% growth, now, in order to continue to build the European InPrint brand is why we have come to Italy and will be holding the Italian exhibition in a years’ time November 2016 in Milan , as we believe this a crucial market and the perfect complement to InPrint in Munich.
This event was a follow up on previous meetings the InPrint team has already had with key technology companies in the Lombardy region. I am incredibly positive and excited about the idea of InPrint being in Milan; it is now our goal to continue to build on the momentum of the InPrint Show in Germany to really make this event a great success and positive and constructive developmental platform following the success of InPrint in Munich.”
