Press release from the issuing company
BOLINGBROOK, Illinois. – In late 2013, Tobe Direct, a Vision Integrated Graphics Group Company, became the first direct marketing company in Chicagoland to install an HP Indigo 10000 variable digital press. The HP Indigo 10000 is the largest variable digital press on the market with a 20" x 29" sheet size. The purchase came at a time when Tobe Direct was looking to bring in new business opportunities that would specifically leverage the HP Indigo 10000's platform.
Fast forward almost two years and Tobe Direct is now a part of the Vision Integrated Graphics Group family and business is booming. So much so, that a second HP Indigo 10000 is being installed next week to account for the overwhelming demand.
"Since we installed our first HP Indigo 10000, we've experienced a tremendous amount of growth," said Tobe Direct CEO, John Tobe. "We've increased volume within existing accounts – accounts that we bought our original HP Indigo 10000 for in the first place – and we've generated several new business opportunities that utilize the HP Indigo 10000's platform."
By adding a second HP Indigo 10000 to their Bolingbrook production facility, Tobe Direct and Vision will be able to continue to bring in new business opportunities and develop more products that leverage the presses variable digital platform and large sheet size. The purchase will also allow them to increase the efficiency of their operations by moving relevant work off of their HP Indigo 7600s and onto their HP Indigo 10000s where they can get more pieces up per sheet.
Installation of a second HP Indigo 10000 also claims Vision Integrated Graphics Group's spot as one of the largest independently owned HP Indigo shops in the country. "Once the second HP Indigo 10000 is installed, we will have a total of nine HP Indigo presses across our two Chicagoland facilities," said Doug Powell, CEO of Vision Integrated Graphics Group. "At Vision, we are dedicated to providing our customers with unbeatable quality while using the highest level of technology, and the HP Indigo technology is just that."
"We are excited to see how the addition of our second HP Indigo 10000 will impact our business and continue to open up growth opportunities," said Tobe. "With our recent merger with Vision Integrated Graphics Group and our HP Indigo technology the opportunities seem to be endless."
