Press release from the issuing company
Opened in 2008, the stadium seats over 67,000 people, covers approximately 1.8 million square feet, and welcomes nearly one million visitors a year. It also has a retractable, dual-panned roof that transforms the facility into an outdoor stadium when opened. Additionally, the stadium’s glass wall provides a stunning view of the Indianapolis city skyline.
Due to its design flexibility, the stadium is home to a variety of indoor and outdoor events. It hosted Super Bowl XLVI in 2012, the 2011-2015 Big Ten Football Championship Games, and the NCAA Men’s Final Four Basketball Championship in 2010 and 2015. It also hosts non-sports events such as concerts, conventions, and trade shows.
“During our bi-annual conferences, we like to treat our members to unique experiences they can’t get anywhere else,” said Ben Markens, President of PPC. “It’s not every day that our members get to build their industry connections during an up-close-and-personal experience at the famed home of the Colts!”
In addition to touring the stadium, attendees of the PPC Fall Meeting will hear engaging presentations from Steve Voorhees, CEO of WestRock, Benny Landa, Chairman and CEO of Landa Corp., and Donna Harman, President and CEO of the American Forest and Paper Association.
The three-day conference will take place at the Westin Indianapolis, October 7-9, 2015. For more information, visit paperbox.org/fall. To register, call 413.686.9191.
