Roland DG Announced as Sponsors of the BSGA British Sign Awards 2015

Press release from the issuing company

Roland DG is delighted to sponsor the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ award at this year’s BSGA British Sign Awards, which is being held at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham on the 13th October, 2015.

As the UK market’s leading manufacturer of wide format digital printers, Roland DG is committed to supporting young and emerging talent from the sign industry.

The ‘Roland Apprentice of the Year’ award will reward sign making apprentices who have made outstanding progress in their academic and learning achievements, as well as a real contribution to their employer’s business.

This sponsorship further underpins the Roland DG Academy’s commitment to support both seasoned professionals wanting to diversify and those new to the sign industry with educational courses – and the winning Apprentice will also be awarded a seat on a Roland DG Academy course of their choice at the Clevedon or Walsall training centres.

Speaking about the BSGA British Sign Awards 2015, Brett Newman, Managing Director for Roland DG (UK) Ltd, said: “We are delighted to be involved with the BSGA British Sign Awards and work alongside the British Signs and Graphics Association to acknowledge and celebrate up-and-coming talent from the sign industry.

“Roland DG has long been invested in growing the sign industry through the Roland DG Academy, which presents attendees with clear, practical and inspirational content that opens their eyes to new and profitable opportunities within the sign industry.”

Employers can nominate potential candidates for the ‘Roland Apprentice of the Year’ award, as well as enter projects for any one of the 15 award categories, through the BSGA British Sign Awards website before the submission deadline of midnight on the 4th September, 2015.

The winner of the award will be announced at the BSGA Awards Presentation gala event where Roland DG will also participate in the integrated ‘Sponsor Showcase’ displaying the flagship SOLJET PRO 4 XR-640 – Roland DG’s widest, fastest and most powerful print and cut device to date.
