Influence Graphics (New York), has installed an HP Indigo 7800 Digital Press to complement its existing Indigo 5500 press.  The purchase of the new press was accompanied by the construction of a brand new press room that will feature both ergonomic design and climate control to protect staff and equipment and paper stock. 

"We will be the only company in the New York City metro area with this advanced press," said a company spokesperson for Influence Graphics. The HP Indigo 7800 is an A3 sheet fed machine with seven-color support and printing capabilities of up to 160 pages per minute. Influence Graphics notes that the new press will let staff create end-product up to 80% faster than with existing technologies, enhancing the speed and output of its customer service. The press also supports specialty inks and technology that allows for printing special effects such as textures, white ink and raised ink.

The press is compatible with more than 2,800 substrates and capable of printing on substrates up to 18pt. thick.  The Indigo 7800 is the fastest 13 x 19 inch digital sheet fed printer currently on the market and it will allow Influence Graphics to offer even faster turnarounds to its New York City customer base.
