Downers Grove, Illinois (04/22/04) - Following on the successful heels of the Sappi Awards, the Printing Industry of Illinois and Indiana (PII) acknowledged Jet at the recent AIPX awards. Out of 273 entries from printing and graphic arts firms from the two states, Jet received the “Best of Illinois Award”, along with the outstanding recognition of the “Best of Show Award”.
“Congratulations to all of our peers for their award winning selections. The commitment to print as a powerful marketing tool was evidenced by the entries,” commented George Bogdanovic, Jet’s President. He concluded by saying, “This was a major achievement for Jet considering the number of magnificently designed and printed pieces.”
Not only did Jet receive PII’s top awards, Jet also accepted two Best of Category, one Best of Division, two Awards of Excellence and two Certificates of Merit. The company's winning submissions were the Lee Allison Catalog, Safilo Sunwear, Building Michigan, Picasso: The Classical Period, Alt Pick Magazine and Guide to Duotones.

The AIPX recognize those responsible for the creation and production of print communications in Illinois and Indiana, promote excellence in print communications and reward companies and individuals that produce the best in print media.
