Family-run business experiences unprecedented success with Canon equipment
MELVILLE, N.Y. – Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., today announced that Chromatic Inc., a California-based leading print provider, continues to experience exceptional results in its diverse range of print jobs following the company’s acquisition of the Canon imagePRESS C800 digital press. The recent purchase marks the 500th Canon imagePRESS C800/C700 model sold by the Enterprise Services and Solutions division of Canon Solutions America.
For over 35 years, Chromatic has provided quality printing services to its expansive range of clients, with special emphasis on keenly executed short- to medium-run jobs. The award-winning company out of Glendale, CA takes pride in its ability to provide a truly customized offering to its clients when printing everything from books and brochures to flyers and posters. To maintain its high level of efficiency, Chromatic produces much of its materials on various Canon devices, including the Canon imagePRESS C7010VP digital color press and Canon imagePRESS C6010 digital color printing system, among others. Most recently, though, with an influx and variation of new jobs, Chromatic recognized the need to enhance its digital color print fleet through an acquisition of the Canon imagePRESS C800.
“When we entered the world of digital printing, I was hesitant about certain decisions that had to be made in regards to equipment and productivity,” said Mike Sevigny, president of Chromatic. “Now, our digital printing is the fastest growing segment of our business. Without equipment like the Canon imagePRESS C800, our emergence into the space would not have been as successful or seamless.”
Combining new and proven technology to help deliver the level of print quality, productivity, and flexibility expected of the imagePRESS line, the Canon imagePRESS C800/C700 has emerged as an industry-leading product that provides customers with top-line image quality while helping to lower operational and production costs. Canon Solutions America’s customers continue to voice their support and praise for the machine that has yielded great results and rapid sales. The landmark 500th unit was sold in less than seven months of availability to customers.
“Listening to our customers and growing with their needs is an integral part of what we do at Canon Solutions America,” said Tracie Sokol, vice president, Marketing, Enterprise Services and Solutions, Canon Solutions America. “Part of the reason why the Canon imagePRESS C800/C700 has been well received is that it meets and exceeds a vast range of our customers’ expectations and business needs.”
As Chromatic continues to experience success in both new and old print mediums, Sevigny noted that it’s not just the equipment that’s been “game-changing,” but the service as well.
“Canon Solutions America seemingly always has the right solutions for us and had guided us to where we are today with excellent support and service,” said Sevigny. “They are a very professional group that knows how to get the job done.”
“Working with customers like Chromatic makes our job easier as we collectively build toward a better, more productive future with valuable insight and feedback on our technology,” said Sokol. “We are always looking for ways to help our customers meet the demanding needs of this evolving industry.”
