Press release from the issuing company
Today, a Komori S640 printing press became the last reconditioned machine to be supplied from our facilities here outside Toronto. Transported on four trucks, the press is on its journey to her new home in New York.
After nearly five decades of operating one of the world’s best facilities for rebuilding of printing and allied equipment, HGE announces that it plans to reorient its business strategy and will concentrate solely on growing the buy and sell sector of our equipment supply business. This press represents a culmination of more than 4500 press units that have been through our facilities since 1967. Plus, nearly 2,500 pre- and post-press equipment, including Bobst, Polar, Muller Martini stitchers and perfect binders - one of special highlight: a 45-pocket Muller Martini - the largest capacity perfect binding line in South America.
Our mandate and commitment to our customers in 74 countries remains the same: we will not sell anything that we would not buy ourselves. We focus on offering our customers the very best in market knowledge and technical know-how. After all the decades of rebuilding we love to share our insights and expertise with the industry. With our active day-to-day involvement, we intend to continue to be the source for quality pre-owned equipment. Our Tradition and Values Continue.
By drawing on our history and experience, since our founding in 1967, and with our finger constantly on the pulse of the industry, we can provide USPAP-compliant certified valuations on a complete plant or one single machine, as well as fully qualified consultative services for buy-outs, mergers and acquisitions, cause & origin determination, and budgetary figures for rebuilding.
