Four Industry Leaders will be Recognized at the October 1st Event to be held at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers

New York, NY - The Printing Industries Alliance and Idealliance, the two partner hosts of the Franklin Luminaire Event, today formally announced the recipients of the 2015 Luminaire Awards. The Luminaire Awards are presented to individuals in recognition of their positive contributions to the media and graphic communication industry. This year Luminaire Awards are being presented in the advertising, printing, publishing and software creation segments.

The 2015 Luminaire Awards Recipients are:

• Veronica H. Simmons – VP, Director Print Production, MMR/McCann
• Michael J. Simon – Executive VP, Publishers Press, Inc.
• Meghan Fitzgerald Milkowski – VP Production & Circulation, Prometheus Global Media
• Charles Blanchard Jr. – President, CEO, Blanchard Systems

The Luminaire awards will be presented at the annual Franklin Luminaire Event to be held on October 1^st, 2015 at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York City. The recipient of the Zenger Community Service Award and Franklin Award will be announced in future releases.

For those wishing to honor the industry and recipients with a table sponsorship, a platinum table of 10 is available at $5500 until July 1^st and then $6500. A gold table of 5 is available at $2750 until July 1^st and then $3250. The Franklin Luminaire Event benefits the educational and training initiatives of the two partner hosts; Printing Industries Alliance and Idealliance and their foundations as well as the Graphic Communications Scholarship Foundation. The event is guided by a fourteen member committee comprised of members from both of the two partner organizations. This year’s Franklin/Luminaire Event co-chairs are Laura C. Reid, Hearst Magazines and Donna Georgio, HighRoad Press.
