Harper Corporation of America to Present FTA Webinar on QD Ink Proofing System

Press release from the issuing company

Charlotte, North CarolinaGlobal anilox roll supplier Harper Corporation of America prides itself on being a leader in the flexographic industry and sharing its insight and technology with others. On Thursday, May 21, Tony Donato, Product Development Engineer will be presenting a webinar through the Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) on Harper’s QD™ Ink Proofing Flat Bed Multi-Process Printing System.

This QD system provides consistent, repeatable, and reproducible print samples for all users. It works with UV, solvent, and water-based inks to produce traditional ink proofs whether for flexo color matching and coating, printing with imaged ITR transfer rolls or imaged plates, or direct or offset gravure coating and imaged patterns. The QD system is beneficial for a wide range of companies who are looking for an effective way to lay down precise and predictable amounts of liquid from 10 centipoise to more than 1,000 centipoise.

Donato will discuss the highlights of the system and how it can improve flexographic operations. The system is easy to use and maintain and has a versatile design making it ideal for multiple substrates. Users can not only test inks and images, they can also check ink functionality to ensure security. It is a durable system that features laser-engraved ceramic surfaces on stainless steel bases for long-lasting usability. Whether using anilox or gravure cylinder engravings, they are easily customizable through infinite combinations of line screen and volumes. It is truly a system worth learning more about as it can provide many benefits in printing.

The one-hour webinar will take place on Thursday, May 21, at 11 a.m. EDT. It free for FTA members and $199 for non-members. Participants are invited to ask questions following the presentation to find out even more. To register for the webinar visit www.fuzemeeting.com/webinar/register/1070750.
