A huge leap in international visitor numbers places Sign Graphic Imaging Dubai as the number one trade show to be visited at the start of the year.
Dubai - Sign & Graphic Imaging (SGI) Dubai 2015, is not only growing but outperforming its previous visitor numbers thus underlining its importance in the region and beyond. The largest specialized B2B trade show for signage (digital and conventional), graphic imaging, retail POP/POS, screen and digital printing attracted over 12,500 visitors from 78 countries at its latest edition.
Over half the visitors were from GCC countries (54%) and a full 19% flew into Dubai from Asia – the largest audience from abroad. Following those were other than GCC Middle East countries (12%), Africa (10%) and rest of the world (5%).
SGI Dubai 2015 is the decision making show for all involved in the signage and graphics industry attracting 52% of top level management and decision makers and 38% of mid level management. Consequently, many a contract for machines or solutions has been signed.

“This is the second time I have been to SGI Dubai. There are so many new machines and materials. I came to look for materials for outdoor printing. I will definitely come next year too”, Alaa Aldin from Sudan.
“It’s my first time at SGI Dubai. This show is really great. I plan to visit the show every year from now on”, Sandeep Bhutani from India.
“I own a printing press here and this is my first time at the exhibition. I am thinking of expanding my business to graphics and signage because I got a lot of ideas after my visit”, Saalam from Dubai (UAE).
“I have been doing advertising for 18 years now. I have come to SGI Dubai all these years. Every year there is something new which impresses me. I look forward to coming here next time too”, Wally from Sudan.
“We came here for winter holidays and we own a business in London. Heard about this and thought of dropping by and seeing if there is something new – we are very much impressed and we would love to come back again”, Mara Locken from London (UK).

This is one of the reasons why SGI Dubai 2016, next years show, will have an even larger floor space at the World Trade Center in Dubai, accommodating even more solutions and featuring new and dedicated areas related to everyday’s business of printers thus complementing their offerings.”
