Atlanta, Ga. – This year’s recipient of the Paper & Board Division Scholarship is Ashley Quick. It is a singular scholarship for $1,000 and is presented to a science and engineering student interested in pursuing a career in the paper industry and to utilize their talents in advancing the science and technology of papermaking.
Quick attends North Carolina State University, majoring in Paper Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering. She has held internships at International Paper in both Maysville, KY and Eastover, SC. She is a member of the NCSU TAPPI Student Chapter.
After graduation, Quick plans to pursue a career in the paper industry, and further develop her technical and professional skills.
