Mentor, Ohio – Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions announced today the launch of a new Hi-Tack high performance adhesive paired with Avery Dennison Easy Apply™ technology, which helps branded graphics remain intact in harsh, outdoor environments. Avery Dennison® 900 Supercast and 700 High Performance opaque vinyls and MPI 2126 digital film are available with the new Hi-Tack Easy Apply™ adhesive and air egress technology combination.

The new Hi-Tack adhesive allows the vinyl to adhere to challenging substrates that are often used by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for consumer products such as 4x4s, boats and dirt bikes, as well as industrial machinery such as diggers and excavators. These recreational and industrial products often feature powder-coated paints, low surface energy plastics, fiberglass and glossy or matte finish protective clear coats; Hi-Tack Easy Apply adheres to these surfaces and provides long-term durability. Easy Apply air egress technology makes equipment graphic installation on these surfaces quicker and reduces the likelihood of bubbles during application. 

The following products are available with Hi-Tack Easy Apply adhesive:

• MPI 2126 is a digitally printable calendered film with a matte finish that is durable up to six years.

• 900 Supercast films are opaque, cast vinyl films. The new adhesive is available with black and white films, which can be screen printed or sign-cut and are durable up to 12 years.

• 700 High Performance films are opaque, calendered films that can be screen printed or sign-cut and durable up to six years. Black and white films feature the new Hi-Tack Easy Apply adhesive.

Both 900 Supercast films and 700 High Performance films come in a broad range of colors and finishes that can be custom ordered with Hi-Tack Easy Apply adhesive.
