XMPie launches PersonalEffect 1.7, Previews Version 2.0 at Drupa

DRUPA, Düsseldorf, May 6, 2004— XMPie, a leading provider of software for dynamic (one-to-one) publishing today announced the launch of PersonalEffect 1.7at DRUPA, the leading international print and media expo, taking place May 6-19 in Düsseldorf, Germany. In addition, the company is also providing conferences attendees with a rare preview of the forthcoming version 2.0 that incorporates the long-awaited features in the transactional document space.
XMPie’s PersonalEffect can be seen at Drupa on the Xerox stand (Hall 13), the EFI stand (Hall 4, stand A33) as well as on the company's own stand (Hall FG, stand 11) in the prestigious Innovation Parc located between Halls 1, 2, 3 and 4).

With the announcement of version PersonalEffect 1.7 and the preview of version 2.0, XMPie introduces new key features including full support for the leading Adobe InDesign CS platform, designer controlled copy fitting for variable text, designer controlled document auto-flow capabilities, and core print production capabilities such as imposition and media selection. This feature set will revolutionize the way people design, plan, and produce data-rich documents (e.g., transactional documents).
