Press release from the issuing company
Madison Advisors, a leading customer communications research and advisory firm, today announced its launch of the Secure Shredding and Document Destruction Study. Madison Advisors' research will examine the best practices for secure shredding and document destruction in production facilities that print and insert confidential information such as invoices and billing statements, healthcare information and statements, financial services information and statements and payments via physical check.
Through this study, Madison will assess the internal processes involved in the packaging and staging of waste items from print and insertion environments and benchmark best-in-class operational procedures and technologies. The study is designed to provide the user community with an objective, third-party validation of the applicability and functionality of the solutions for secure shredding and document destruction.
The objectives of the study include:
Madison Advisors believes there are vast opportunities to improve security of critical confidential information in its paper format, and believe that cost savings and efficiency opportunities in the area of secure shredding and document destruction can be identified as well. Madison Advisors will also analyze the destruction of return mail including plastic cards, metal cards, cards with data chips and marketing mail that includes foil inserts and onserts.
Participants will be engaged in a combination of questionnaires, in-depth interviews and onsite operations audits with key stakeholders and decision makers. Results will be published in 2015.
The registration period for this study is April 7, 2015-May 15, 2015. For questions and to register, please contact Madison Advisors' Principal Analyst Irving Gaither at [email protected] or call 301-526-7525.
