Critiqom awarded onto public sector framework agreement for Postal Goods and Services

Press release from the issuing company

Critical communications specialist appointed as a supplier of off-site hybrid mail services to public sector

Glasgow - Public sector organisations can now procure expert hybrid mail solutions from Critiqom following the award of a framework agreement for postal goods and services to the critical communications specialist.

The framework agreement has been established collaboratively by Crown Commercial Service, YPO and ESPO.

The Framework Agreement presents public sector buyers with suppliers that have been pre-assessed for their ability to deliver quality and value.

Critiqom has been appointed as a supplier under Lot3 of the Postal Goods and Services Framework Agreement (RM1063) which relates directly to the provision of off-site hybrid mail solutions.  Buyers selecting Critiqom as their chosen hybrid mail solution provider will benefit from the company’s proven expertise in handling critical communications for 50+ local authorities across the UK.

Hybrid mail solutions effectively remove the inconsistency, expense and inefficiency relating to ad-hoc print that is processed on office desktop printers. Critiqom’s solution presents local authorities with a web-portal through which all authorised personnel can send documents to print. Instead of being printed on expensive desktop devices, these print-jobs are directed to Critiqom’s purpose-built print production environment where they are processed and despatched. Buyers benefit from stringent quality and compliance controls and from economies of scale.

Neil McCallum, Managing Director, Critiqom, comments: “Being appointed as a supplier on this framework is hugely important for Critiqom. We already process critical communications for a number of local authorities throughout the UK, but the framework agreement puts us in front of many more decision-makers and enables us to deliver value to more departments in more districts.

“Hybrid mail is an increasingly attractive proposition for many public sector authorities and our expertise in providing communications solutions that hit quality and efficiency targets will appeal to buyers looking to drive value and improve services to citizens.”
