ATLANTA, Ga. – The highlight of TAPPI’s 100 year anniversary will be the Centennial Celebration Gala Dinner on April 20. Beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Convention Center, America’s Mart, the Gala will celebrate the past, present and future potential of the global pulp, paper, packaging, tissue and related industries.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network with industry professionals while enjoying a formal dinner as well as entertainment provided by Juice Studios.

As a feature of the night on the main stage, a lively series of scenes will take guests through a fun-filled journey from the bygone era of old-timey radio shows and into the future.

Between on-stage performances, the cast will be engaging guests directly at their tables through "live television advertisements". Select guests will read lines from cue cards advertising fictional products or make up an ad of their own, while being featured on the event big and small screens.

In addition to the evening’s entertainment, complimentary copies of the 100 year commemorative coffee table book “A Century of Achievement” will be provided to Gala attendees (one per couple), the contents of the 75 year time capsule will be unveiled, and the winning submission for the TAPPI Student Video Competition will be revealed.
