Key Criteria Considered When Selecting the Memjet-Powered Printer Include Quality, Productivity and Price
SAN DIEGO, CA - Today, Laser Print Plus, which specializes in providing high quality printing and mailing services, announced its decision to deploy the Super Web Digital WEBJet™ 200D inkjet press. The decision came after lengthy deliberation, with the company evaluating five major vendors, and eighteen different print engines.
Following last year's InkJet Summit, Tim Delaney, president of Laser Print Plus, determined selection criteria based on discussions with users about common pain points. Delaney identified the following four factors as being most important to meeting his customers' needs related to the purchase of the WEBJet 200D:
When speaking of his decision, Tim Delaney said, "This was a very difficult decision for Laser Print Plus, as we had been a loyal customer of another vendors for over 20 years. Making a change is hard and it's particularly difficult to unseat an incumbent. But when we put all our thoughts and calculation out on the table, Super Web Digital rose to the top."
The Memjet-powered WEBJet™ 200D is designed for Super Web Digital's direct mail, transaction and commercial printing customers with a full range of solutions for handling today's biggest printing challenges. It allows users to print variable data with shorter production runs, while driving down material costs. The WEBJet™ 200D also prints on a wide variety of substrates, and provides an integral duplex function so end users can unwind the paper, print on both sides, and then cut, perforate and stack materials -- all on the same machine.
