It will help a customer in Singapore to gain 990 hours of additional production capacity per year sooner, which increases the printer’s productivity and competence in the challenging printing industry to a very large extent.

Aftersales

“In order to guarantee 100 percent the excellent services and consultancy we provide for the customers, our team is being strengthened significantly with regular intensive internal training on the latest knowledge and skills in the printing world,” Ms. Kang said.

“We do understand our customers’ urgent need of spare parts. So we have strengthened the JIT (just-in-time) management on the stocks and supplies. We try to deliver the spare parts at the soonest possible time so that production is not disrupted.”

When asked what suggestion she can give to the printers so they can tackle the fierce market competition, she replied: “Stay lean, competitive and cost-effective in order to share the costs saving with the customers”.

Printers can significantly reduce costs and increase profits, Ms. Kang said, by adopting a wide variety of groundbreaking value added printing (VAP) solutions from Manroland.
