St. Paul, MN – The Printing Industry Midwest (PIM) announces Philip Mentzer, President, Color & Coating Services, Omaha, NE, is the 2015 recipient of the Nebraska Distinguished Printer of the Year Award. The award was presented by the 2014 recipient John Barnhart, President, Barnhart Press, Omaha, NE, at Tuburon Golf Club, Omaha, on March 10^th, 2015.

Each year the award recipient is selected by the elite list of past award winners. Mentzer was chosen for his commitment and generous contributions to the industry.  He started Color & Coating Services in 2009 and has grown the business to several million dollars in annual sales.  

“It is a pleasure to present Philip with this award,” said Barnhart. “He has brought great customer service and valuable solutions to the graphic arts arena for many years, and he is a great supporter of our industry.”

Color & Coating Services has 12 employees and markets to both the offset and wide format digital printers. Menzter continues to look to expand his product lines into new markets.
