JP Graphics Purchases Six-Color Komori Lithrone G40

Press release from the issuing company

GL640’s advanced automation makes it possible to replace two competitive presses

Rolling Meadows, IL - Komori America Corporation, a premier manufacturer of sheetfed and web offset printing presses, announced that JP Graphics has installed a new six-color Lithrone G40 (GL640) to meet the needs of its diversified client base that includes advertising agencies, marketing firms and large publishers. JP Graphics chose the Komori GL640 for its innovative automation and environmental efficiencies, which made it possible to replace two competitive presses at its 50,000 square-foot production facility in Appleton, Wisconsin.

“Since our inception in 1969, we’ve made it a point to utilize the most current technology, and from our research found that Komori presses were at the leading edge,” said Rod Stoffel, president and owner of JP Graphics. “We work every day to ensure we are providing the highest-quality product in a timely manner, while keeping costs affordable.  Komori’s presses offer more features and are more cost-effective than any machine on the market today. The value we know we are going to get from choosing Komori outweighed that of any other manufacturer.”

JP Graphics plans to double its output and significantly reduce waste and consumables with the GL640 versus the previous two. The Lithrone G40’s  robust features include Komori’s revolutionary KHS-AI intelligent software with self-learning, as well as automatic plate changing that minimize set-up time,  enabling the company to produce shorter run work profitably and with the highest level of image and color quality its clients demand.

“We are very excited to welcome JP Graphics to the Komori family,” said Jacki Hudmon, senior vice president of sales for Komori. “We have no doubt the GL640 will exceed their expectations for delivering both efficiency and eco-friendly performance.”
