It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce that Candid Litho will be changing the Blue Ocean Worldwide name to Candid Worldwide in LIC, New York and Las Vegas, Nevada effective immediately.

When we decided to venture into the large format industry we felt having a different name would keep a separation between our offset and large format divisions. After a little over 18 months operating as such, we now realize that it is creating more confusion than anything.

Candid Litho has been serving the printing industry since 1961 providing a high level of quality and customer service that is second to none. We feel the name Candid Litho is such a well-known and respected name in the Graphic Arts Industry that we would like to extend that name into the large format, Out-of-Home (OOH) industry as well.

Our Candid Worldwide sales staff and production team will not change and will continue to provide our clients with the best quality and highest level of customer service, in both the offset and large format industries. So, in a nutshell, nothing is going to change except the name.

After 54 years Candid Litho continues to invest in the best equipment in the Graphic Arts Industry. In the past two years our investment in both the NYC and Las Vegas facilities includes four (4) EFI VUTEk GS5000r roll-to-roll printers, two (2) EFI VUTEk GS 3250 hybrid roll-to-roll/flatbed and a Fuji Inca high speed, high resolution flatbed printer. In addition, between NYC and Las Vegas, we are equipped with two (2) high-speed flatbed cutters, Liquid UV laminators, two (2) HP Indigo digital presses and a variety of finishing equipment. We’ve even gone as far as purchasing our own building in Las Vegas, now that’s commitment!

As you can see, we continue to be committed to the Graphic Arts Industry with state of the art facilities in both Long Island City, New York and Las Vegas, Nevada. Having a national presence is very important to our national accounts. East coast prints for the East and West coast prints for the West.

We are also proud members of the Advertising Production Club and we support the Graphics Arts Scholarship Fund, which annually awards Graphic Arts scholarships to college students. APC teaching tours of both facilities are always welcome, in fact we encourage them. Promoting the successful future of our industry is clearly a priority to us.
