Senior Technical and Pre-Sales Specialist for the Americas, Worldwide Service Manager, and Product Specialist Join the Team
BELGIUM - CHILI Publish, the creator of powerful online document editing, layout, and 3D visualization software, has appointed three new team members to support its substantial growth. On the heels of being recognized as the "Most Promising Young Company in Belgium[1]", CHILI Publish names Jeffrey Cheal as senior pre-sales engineer and representative for customers in North and Latin America; Erika Verleysen as worldwide service manager; and Peter Waelkens to the position of product specialist.
Chief Operating Officer Bram Verniest says there are more appointments on the horizon.
"We're attracting the brightest and most talented, well-connected people in the industry, such as Jeff, Erika and Peter," Verniest says. "During their interviews and our subsequent conversations, all three said that they are hearing the 'buzz' that CHILI Publisher is a game-changer, and that there hasn't been anything this exciting in production software in over a decade.
"It's a message moving quickly among the most respected brand owners, agencies, production organizations and vendors - many, such as Esko and XMPie, who have become our partners."
Award-winning technology from the "Most Promising Young Company in Belgium"
The company's flagship product, CHILI Publisher, is seen by customers and partners as the hottest online document editor on the market today. Called a game-changer by experts in the dynamic publishing technology segment, CHILI Publisher offers more than 150 editing, layout, and design tools that can be used with a variety of document formats, including PDF, XML, Collada, and those imported from Adobe® InDesign®.
The professional-level CHILI Publisher solution integrates with a broad range of workflows and production platforms. System integrators can choose how to incorporate CHILI Publisher software within any workflows and applications, such as web-to-print, magazine publishing, packaging, brand management, and yearbooks. CHILI Publisher is distributed by a broad and growing portfolio of well-known partners around the world.
"Momentum is strong, demand is strong, and so we have been booked solid with customer meetings, webinars, training events, and other activities through the first half of the year," Verniest says. "With Jeff, Erika, and Peter on board, we hope to go back to invitations we had to decline, and add them to the calendar."
One of the first places CHILI Publish customers and partners will have the chance to meet Jeff, Erika, and Peter will be at the company's SpicyTalks Best Practices and Training event in Bruges, on February 12.
