Press release from the issuing company
Xeikon, HP, Esko-Graphics, Epson, FFEI, DuPont UK and Fujifilm UK Ltd have all announced they will be exhibiting at Label&Print 2015, which runs alongside Packaging Innovations and Empack, taking place at The NEC, Birmingham on 25 & 26 February.
The two day show will feature all aspects of offset printing, converting machinery and labelling equipment. Plus, there will be masses of product launches and live demonstrations, making it the ideal shop window through which to showcase products and services in front of thousands of decision makers and influencers with real buying power.
Andrew Pearce, CEO at the IPIA, remarks: “It is great to see how much the show has grown. Label&Print provides a unique opportunity for the printing industry to meet with brand owners, retailers and marketers. Having an event that covers all aspects of offset printing, converting machinery and labelling equipment under one roof is fantastic for the industry. Being right at the heart of such a well-established packaging show, also means that all those involved in packaging have the chance to embrace the very latest print developments.”
The 2014 show reported record attendance across the two days, with over 6,000 unique visitors attending. Mark Baker-Homes, Director of Business Development at Intec Printing Solutions, exhibiting at the 2014 show, remarked: “It’s refreshing to see so much interest and demand for the packaging and labelling market. We had blue chip companies coming onto the stand, but also start-ups looking to get into packaging with genuine enthusiasm, which is great to see. We could not have asked for a better show and the easyFairs team is great – they provide fantastic show support, and realise the true value of business.”
Label&Print will also feature the BIG Print Debate, where a panel of experts will scrutinise a contentious issue of the moment; plus a compelling programme of learnShops, including presentations from Mondel?z, Marks and Spencer, Nestlé and John Lewis.
Exhibiting at the 2015 show will be Durst, showcasing its Tau 330 digital UV inkjet print system for the food industry and fully-automated industrial production. Atlantic Zeiser Ltd will be presenting MEDTRACKER a flexible and modular software solution dedicated to pharmaceutical Track & Trace and authentication applications. Whilst, AMS Ltd will be demonstrating its colour label printer, the M1C Labelmaxer.
This year’s show will feature its first ever Pharmaceutical Symposium, providing organisations with the opportunity to gain inspiration and a greater understanding of how to tackle the key issues within packaging, labelling, coding and marketing for pharmaceutical products.
Also launching at the show will be two additional features – The Drinks Symposium and The Retail Symposium, offering exhibitors and visitors from all spheres of the packaging and print world a unique programme of valuable and insightful content. There will also be a full learnShops programme addressing hot industry trends, Lions’ Lair, plus live 3D print demos enabling designers, engineers and educators to test and perfect work with 3D modeling.
Alison Church, Event Director for easyFairs’ UK packaging events, says: “Next year’s event is going to be a real showstopper. It will be packed with exhibitors specialising in all aspects of packaging and print from materials and design, to machinery, new technologies and equipment. It provides the perfect opportunity to see the latest innovations, touch products and materials, and to discuss your individual business with suppliers face-to-face. It’s going to be a celebrational show, especially as it will be our tenth!”
