The application requirements at Ampersand Printing had changed over the 9 years from the original purchase of the Morgana DigiFold – an automated creasing and folding machine. The new requirement to crease higher quantities of lighter paper stocks as well as the heavier 12 and 14 point stock to feed their high capacity folding systems brought to the fore a need for high speed flat sheet creasing.  

“When we originally purchased the Morgana DigiFold we were dealing with a lot of short run work that had high coverage and was prone to marking. Over time we have shifted technology and our requirement became creasing of high quantities of both 12 and 14 point card stocks and lighter weight stock to feed our high capacity folding machines. The Morgana AutoCreaser 50 PRO with its smart screen technology can be setup by any operator in seconds. The ability to crease up to 8,500 sheets per hour on a 19.6” sheet width with perfect accuracy provides the assurance printers need to eliminate cracking on their digital and offset printed work.
