Press release from the issuing company
Melbourne, Australia - Last week, CSW, Inc. traveled to the far side of the world to present their WhiteFX™ Ink Transfer Solution to over 200 attendees at the Australia and New Zealand Flexographic Technical Association (ANZFTA) “Flexovation” Annual Forum in Melbourne, Australia. CSW’s Director of Graphics R&D Marek Skrzynski discussed ways that flexible packaging printers could achieve smoother solvent-based ink laydown on clear substrates – in one pass, at production speeds, while consuming less ink. Skrzynski was joined in his presentation by Ryan Vest, Global Director for Packaging at MacDermid Printing Solutions USA.
CSW and MacDermid recently conducted a joint study to identify the optimal combination of print variables that would help printers solve the problem of uneven white ink laydown. After hearing about the study during the FFTA Annual Forum in Baltimore last spring, ANZFTA organizers invited CSW to speak at their own technical forum. Other forum topics included sustainability in packaging, extended color gamut printing, streamlining production, and brand packaging case studies – all with an emphasis on using innovation to grow your flexo print business.
