Coloredge Increases Investment in Dye Sublimation

Press release from the issuing company

Another State-of-the-Art Mimaki Grand Format Inkjet Printer Is Added to Coloredge’s Extensive Array of Wide Format Presses In Response to the Rising Popularity of Upscale Soft Graphics

New York, NY – Coloredge, the nation’s largest coast-to-coast provider of high-end visual imaging solutions for luxury brands and retailers, announced that they have extended their capacity in the high quality wide format printing category. Coloredge has purchased another state-of-the-art grand format inkjet printer from Mimaki, a leading manufacturer of dye sublimation printers.

Upscale retailers are finding this fabric based graphical printing provides an excellent solution to obtain exceptionally high quality color and increased speed- to- market. When new store graphics need to be produced, shipped and displayed in a narrow time frame, soft graphics offer an expeditious solution and at a lower shipping cost. The latest framing systems that come in many sizes can readily accept the new soft graphics and quickly be set up by the retailer’s own personnel. No outside installers are necessary. When a new campaign needs to be introduced on the exact same date nationally or even globally, it can now be implemented easily and beautifully.

Fabric based dye sublimation printing has become increasingly popular with global brand owners and leading retailers. It is also widely used for graphics and displays in industries like entertainment, automotive, financial, technology and cosmetics. The printed fabric provides exceptional quality that can be back- lit, if desired and the flexible media format can be used in both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Jeb Ball, CEO of Coloredge, commented, “With this latest acquisition of another Mimaki we are responding to our luxury retail clients that hold the highest standard in visual brand messaging. Our goal is to provide our clients with added value that gives them options to have branding with the most visually stunning appeal possible.  Our brand imaging solutions, both tactile and digital, offer all wide format processes, widths and substrates. This is yet another example of our commitment to invest in our clients’ needs”.

Mike Trotter, Branch Manager of Mimaki in New Jersey stated, “Mimaki USA is very pleased that Coloredge, a leader in visual branding solutions, has chosen Mimaki as the manufacturer for their latest dye sub digital press”.

Michael Terlizzi, VP of Sales for ITNH, Inc. the distributor and integrator for Mimaki, added, “ITNH is proud that Coloredge has again expanded their investment in Mimaki Grand Format Dye Sublimation print technology. As the national leader in visual communications for the high-end retail market, Coloredge continues to prove their dedication to customer success by investing in multiple Mimaki JV 5-320S printers that offer uncompromised high resolution fabric graphics with outstanding color”.
