Press release from the issuing company

New York – NavaNewYork, the American branch of the Milan-based printing company, Nava Press, continues its tradition of supplying distinctive, high-quality print to US luxury brands and agencies from its New York office under the new ownership of the Rotolito Lombarda group.

The acquisition of Nava Press from Nava Milano SpA was completed in July 2014, with Rotolito’s purchase of the company’s operations in Milan, Paris and New York. Board members Gianni and Patrizia Nava remain with the company to ensure continuity of service and quality.

‘In Nava Press we have found the answer to our needs for further expansion and production diversification,’ says Paolo Bandecchi, President and CEO, Rotolito Lombarda. ‘Nava Press has 140 staff and in 2013 generated revenues of approximately 50 million euro [US$67.5 million] of which 80% is export. The company is well-known by print buyers for its high standards and technical know-how. The two companies share similar values and complement each other in the market.”

Adding value to luxury brands in America

More active than ever in the US market, NavaNewYork specializes in print, production services and design to top quality brands. As part of Rotolito Lombarda, one of the largest private printing companies in Europe, NavaNewYork can draw on the group’s resources of 450 employees and five production plants that deploy the latest technologies. NavaNewYork will continue to be run from its New York office, and managed by Mr. Dario Colombo.

“Being part of an innovative and dynamic group like Rotolito Lombarda while retaining the oversight of Nava Press’ founders, enables the company to offer more products and greater expertise while preserving the core values our customers expect,” said Dario Colombo. “It is an exciting new phase and will enable us to expand our unique offering further into the American luxury market.”

Among the top-quality products printed daily on the company’s state of the art machinery are catalogues, booklets, brochures and invitations. The equipment ranges from the B2 format, offset quality HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press to a fleet of 10 sheet-fed and 14 web presses.

The distinctive quality standards of the Nava brand will remain unchanged, while at the same time Rotolito Lombarda will uphold its competitive position, ensuring quality and value, through continued investment in new equipment.
