Press release from the issuing company
PostNet, the nation’s first Neighborhood Business Center, has named
franchise industry veteran Neal Courtney as Chief Operating Officer.
PostNet co-founder and former COO Brian Spindel will assume the role
of Chief Administrative Officer.
In his new role, Courtney will lead strategic initiatives focused on
increasing revenue and improving profitability. Courtney, who is also
a multi-unit franchisee, brings an in-depth understanding of the
interdependent relationship in franchising.
Before joining PostNet, Courtney spent nine years holding several
senior management positions including COO with Famous Brands
International, the parent company of TCBY Yogurt and Mrs. Fields
Cookies, helping to drive profitable sales in all segments of the
business. Most recently, Courtney served as Chief Executive Officer of
Famous Brands International. Prior to that, Courtney served in
financial roles with PepsiCo and Kmart Corporation.
“Having served as both a franchise owner and executive leader, Neal is uniquely qualified to serve as COO of PostNet and help franchisees and the brand reach new heights,” said PostNet CEO and co-founder Steve Greenbaum. “Most importantly, he shares our core values and is an energetic leader focused on results through collaboration and
execution.”
“The PostNet team does an exceptional job of making the success of
their franchisees a top priority and I look forward to continuing to
champion that mission,” said Courtney. “PostNet is uniquely positioned in the marketplace and I am excited about being a part of this dynamic and growing organization.”
The addition of Courtney to the PostNet team is a result of the
continued growth of the global franchise. With over 700 locations
worldwide, PostNet is currently focused on domestic and international
expansion, including in Europe, Asia and Mexico.
