Milwaukee, Wis. – RBP Chemical Technology announced today its appointment of Jonathan Beaton as Eastern Regional Sales Manager. 

In this new role, Beaton oversees all print sales activities in the company’s Eastern region, and is responsible for driving and growing sales efforts across a national customer base, with a special focus on the commercial print  and newspaper markets. 

Beaton brings over 20 years of print industry experience, including operations within RBP and a long tenure in the newspaper industry. “Jonathan’s extensive experience in the newspaper market, combined with a robust knowledge of RBP products and customers, brings a unique customer-centric approach to this role,” says Mark Heimerl, director of sales and marketing, RBP. “We’re confident that Jonathan’s extensive experience and strong operations background will make him a valuable asset to our Eastern territory.”

Having most recently served as General Manager, Massachusetts Operations, Beaton is well-versed in RBP products and the customers they serve. In this position, Beaton supervised the purchasing, customer service, warehousing and converting departments across RBP’s Massachusetts division. 

The transition from operations to sales began with Beaton covering the commercial print and newspaper sales in the state of Florida, followed by several accounts in RBP’s Eastern region. 

Prior to joining RBP in 2010, Beaton held a number of positions at the New England Newspaper Supply Co. (NENSCO) Inc. over a period of 16 years, the last being vice president general manager.
