Manufacturers Join Together to Market Print Solutions Conference & Expo
Press release from the issuing company
Alexandria, VA – April 19, 2004 – Thirteen leading manufacturers in the independent, trade-only segment of the document industry have come together under the auspices of their trade association to sponsor a group promotion, the Major League Manufacturer Promotion (MLMP). This Promotion focuses on the Document Management Industries Association (DMIA) upcoming conference and expo in Chicago. The 2004 event, The Fall Classic, is to be held at the Donald C. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL on October 5-7.
The MLMP brings together member manufacturers who were known to be good marketers, and open to creative concepts and solutions. Each participating manufacturer is asking potential attendees a World Series Trivia question. The answers will be validated in each MLMP exhibitors' booth for a grand prize of two tickets to a 2004 World Series game and hotel.
"We are pleased that the following manufacturers have joined us in this exciting promotion: Ameriprint, Apex Business Systems, Color Craft Label Company, Data Management Center, Golden Business Forms, National Imprint Corp., National Printing Converters, NextWave, Specialized Printed Forms, Avant-Garde, Team Concept Printing, TFP Data Systems, Wilmer, and Wise Business Forms" said Debbie Ayres, DMIA VP of Marketing.
"Each of them has chosen one question for the quiz and are now publicizing and asking the questions via direct mail. We are delighted to be working with these manufacturers to increase awareness of and attendance at the Conference and Expo."
DMIA is the trade association representing the independent segment of the document industry. The suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors who form the industry work together as equal partners in the Association. The independent segment of the document industry controls over one half the production and distribution of documents and related products and services in North America.
