RED BANK, NJ - Diversified Graphic Machinery, innovators of cold foil print enhancement technology for the global print packaging market sponsored a highly successful and well-attended Cold Foil Innovations Summit this summer at DGM’s manufacturing facility in Turin, Italy.  

Cold Foil was the hot topic at the Innovations Summit, which attracted participants from Germany, Denmark, England, Switzerland, Italy and the United States.  ITW Foils, Colorgraph and Diversified Graphic Machinery presented a number of new and innovative cold foil products and technologies during the 3-day run of the summit.

“The Innovations Summit was an excellent opportunity to have both suppliers and customers come together and see what’s new with the cold foil process,” said Michael DeBard, President, Diversified Graphic Machinery.

“A hot topic at the summit was Indexing and how Foildex® technology allows you to save foil in the running direction of the sheet,” added DeBard. “My goal since starting the company in 2000 was to remain constant and consistent; to bring innovative, cost-effective solutions to the market which are backed by a company that is willing and capable to stand behind it.”

DGM also announced that a UV Casting Innovations Summit is planned for fall 2014 at DGM after Graph Expo that will focus on UV Cast and Cure™ with discussions on LED UV lamps vs. standard UV lamps and their respective benefits. Also a round table discussion will be open for customers with the release of the latest cold foil technology.
