April 16, 2004 -- The innovative Dutch banding equipment supplier, BAND’ALL, has become the latest company to join with PrintCity for its drupa 2004 display. BAND’ALL manufactures a wide range of manual and automatic operation banding machines for applications in the graphic arts industry, working alongside the world’s leading print finishing equipment suppliers, many of which are PrintCity members. BAND’ALL also supplies equipment to other industries such as pharmaceuticals, and has a worldwide distribution network of 30 companies. The company’s modular machines feature a patented “band-feed through” system, which allows very thin, and therefore environmentally friendly, paper and film bands to be fed through at high speeds. This allows printed work such as books, magazines, lables and brochures to be quickly banded and sent for further dispatch. The postpress and banding field is increasingly characterised by the banding operation being integrated within folding, die-cutting and other finishing systems, and the opportunity to work more closely with the large postpress manufacturers in PrintCity will be a major advantage for BAND’ALL, says Bram van Roosmalen, the company’s Sales Director.
