Press release from the issuing company
Tri-Tech Canada who for 40 years has been serving the magazine and printing industry adds the Duplo DPB 500 perfect binder to complement their recent investments into digital printing. Having tested the output from a couple of different major manufacturers the Duplo DPB 500 was chose based on its ability to bind thin books, quick automated setup and ongoing support by Sydney Stone.
“We are pleased to add the Duplo DPB 500 Perfect Binder from Sydney Stone to compliment our full in-house printing and finishing capabilities. The very quick setup allows us to maintain our competitive edge in the publication printing industry. The Duplo DPB 500 perfect binder compliments our expansion into digital printing less than a year ago. We are now producing perfect bound books and magazines of the highest quality all in-house. The initial response from our clients has been overwhelmingly positive of the final results.” Mark Robinson VP of Tri-Tech Canada.
The high speed and precision engineering of the Duplo DPB-500 Perfect Binder makes it the most productive and cost-efficient perfect binder in its class. The fully automatic and single clamp design allows output of up to an impressive 525 cycles per hour
“Bringing perfect binding in-house is becoming very lucrative for many printers. The ability to print and bind short runs of perfect bound books (which by nature have a high page count and thus print value) is actually easier than many think. Tri-Tech ran the numbers on the cost of sending their work out against a monthly lease and found that this was a great way to add profit to their business.” Said Michael Steele Director with Sydney Stone
