SEATTLE - Two seasoned marketing-solutions providers are joining forces. It was announced today that Direct Connect Group West (DCG West) has entered into a final agreement to buy CCS Printing to create one of the largest privately held marketing service providers on the West Coast.

DCG West’s operating divisions McCallum Print Group and The Mailhandlers will combine with CCS under the new brand DCG ONE.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 2014 combined revenues for the companies will exceed $50 million and the new company will grow to approximately 270 employees.

In the first quarter of 2015, most operations will consolidate into a brand-new 140,000 square-foot facility currently under construction in the SODO neighborhood of Seattle. Web printing operations will remain in their current location in Kent, WA.

Existing leadership from both DCG West and CCS will assume roles in the new DCG ONE organization, allowing for seamless integration to facilitate long-term success for customers. Terry Storms, who will continue in the CEO role, is thrilled about the transaction. “CCS is such a strong company and a real leader in print management, volume digital print production and deep integrated solutions.” Brad Clarke, president of DCG West and now president of DCG ONE, adds, “The addition of CCS will expand our production and strategic marketing capabilities, and will provide outstanding value for our customers.”

Tammy Peniston, DCG West principal and new Chief Commercial Officer of DCG ONE, notes, “Our new facility will join several existing divisions into a central location and will truly bring us together as one. This will have an immediate and positive impact on our customers by streamlining processes, reducing transportation costs and improving internal team collaboration.”

Kevin Sullivan, president of CCS, will assume the role of COO of DCG ONE. Says Sullivan, “Our team sees great potential with this new venture, and knows that the incremental scale and production resources will be a great benefit to our customers.”
