Press release from the issuing company
Business communication specialist Banner Managed Communication (BMC) has been awarded a new contract by Allianz Global Assistance UK, leader in travel insurance and assistance services.
The five year contract will see BMC provide Allianz Global Assistance UK with a range of outsourced services from its multichannel facility, including print management, hybrid mail and complex fulfilment.
Simon Kirby, Marketing Manager for Allianz Global Assistance UK, said:
“Moving to BMC for these key services will ensure that we have access to levels of expertise, technology and innovation that simply aren’t achievable from a smaller in-house print and fulfilment facility. High quality print and fulfilment services are critical to our business and I’m certain this new model will deliver what’s required to support our future ambitions.”
Catherine Burke, Managing Director of BMC commented:
“Businesses are under constant pressure to control both fixed and variable costs without compromising on quality, brand integrity or customer service and BMC’s proposition is ideally suited to this environment. We’ll be delivering this service from a secure, large-scale, multichannel site, which is currently benefiting from sustained investment in the very latest technology.
We’re well aware how competitive the outsourcing market is, especially for a brand of Allianz Global Assistance UK’s stature, so it speaks volumes for BMC’s proposition and credentials that we’ve been awarded this contract.”
The announcement comes just weeks after BMC announced a £1.5m (2.5m USD) investment in new equipment at its multichannel facility. This included the purchase of two new iGen 150 digital presses and upgrades to document management and finishing technology.
