ITW is pleased to announce the promotion of Kai Schildwaechter to the position of European Sales Director for ITW Foils Europe. Kai comes to the Foils business after several years of serving as Sales Director for ITW Zip-Pak Europe and as Global Key Accounts Manager for the ITW Brand Identity Group. Prior to his tenure with ITW, Kai gained significant experience in a variety of sales and product management positions within the packaging industry.

In line with this move is also the promotion ITW Foils’ current European Sales Director, Graham Price to General Manager ITW Thermal Films Europe and North America. Graham’s extensive global experience in thermal transfer ribbon makes him uniquely qualified for this expanded role. 

ITW Foils continues to plot an aggressive growth strategy in our European business over the past year including expansion of our UK manufacturing platform, R&D capabilities and distribution facilities. Additionally, we are completing a global recapitalization and capacity expansion of our holographic film technology. This expansion targets high growth holographic product segments of transfer films, lamination films, cast films and cold foils for our packaging and label markets.

These strategic improvements to our business are part of a range of developments designed to enhance ITW Foils’ technical and commercial offerings to our customers across Europe.
