Program Theme Explores "Print's Evolution—Changing Markets, Firms, Technologies and Applications"
Reston, VA - PRIMIR, the research arm of NPES, announced its Summer Meeting will focus on 'print's evolution.' To be held July 21-23, 2014 at the DoubleTree Downtown-Lakeside Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio, the meeting will feature a number of presentations and discussions on where the industry is heading and how it's evolving.
In a panel discussion, "The Evolving Print Firm," three local printing executives will share where their companies are heading and how they envision the print industry of the future. Panelists will include: Al Carrero, Owner/Partner-President Operations and Finance of Hudson Printing; Paul Hvizda, Vice President of Operations at Admiral Products, Inc.; and, Tom Weber, President of CardPak.
In another profit opportunity-focused session, Don Carli, President of Nima-Hunter will inform PRIMIR attendees about new market opportunities in "Functional Printing, Printed Electronics, Active/Intelligent Packaging & Sustainability."
The PRIMIR 2014 Summer Meeting will also be packed with data and content from two new PRIMIR studies. "Tag & Label Printing Trends" research findings will be addressed by Jennifer Dochstader and David Walsh, Founding Partners of LPC, who conducted the PRIMIR research. Another new, timely PRIMIR study presentation, "Print Applications: Revenues, Processes and Run Lengths in Commercial Printing," will examine findings from I.T. Strategies' research presented by Mark Hanley, President.
Other highlights of the meeting include a VIP tour of local package printing establishment, Tap Packaging Solutions. Plus, a signature component of every PRIMIR meeting is time on the program for members to take part in sessions to weigh in on current and future PRIMIR research studies. In Cleveland, attendees will discuss a wide range of newly suggested topics including: flexography, direct mail, industry consolidation, wide-format printing, books, and global food packaging.
