The event to take place on June 18th at School of Graphic Communications Management, Ryerson University
Itasca, IL - Xeikon NV, an innovator in digital color printing technology, today announced another event in its series of signature Xeikon Café events, an informal knowledge exchange and educational platform covering different aspects of digital print production, and the paths to success in today's market.
The event will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Ryerson University's School of Graphic Communications Management in Toronto, Ontario. The event will mark the third Xeikon Café in Canada after the highly-successful Xeikon Café Toronto in 2013 and Xeikon Café Montréal held earlier this year. Representatives from Canflexographics, Xeikon's channel partner in the Canadian market, will also be present at the event.
Ryerson University's School of Graphic Communications Management was chosen as the site for the Xeikon Café because of its important role in training the next leaders in the industry. The Graphic Communications Management program focuses on turning out professional managers who have business knowledge combined with an understanding of graphic technology.
"We're pleased to be the site for the Xeikon Café's return to Toronto," said Ian Baitz, chair of Ryerson University's School of Graphic Communications Management. "Plenty is changing in the world of printing and there are many challenges, but the need for digital printing continues to grow. Events like this are a powerful way for people in the industry to share ideas and experience and we're glad to be a part of it."
The event agenda will include an insightful presentation from InfoTrends, a leading worldwide analyst firm, on digital applications and services that command premium prices and yield the most attractive profit margins. Additionally, the owners of a few leading digital printing companies who built very successful businesses from the ground up will share their real-world experiences. Included in their presentations will be creative samples that will spark ideas for new applications.
A continental breakfast will be served at 9:00 AM, and the presentations will begin at 9:30 AM. Luncheon will be served at the conclusion of the program to provide networking opportunities for attendees.
As seating space at the event is limited, please contact Larry Vogel at [email protected] or (416) 907-0889 to reserve your space at the earliest. Attendance at the event is completely free of charge for printing companies.
