Robert Lang Joins Aia Software to Drive Market Development in Southeast Region

Palm Coast, FL - April 5, 2004 – Aia Software, the source for affordable data-driven document software, announces that Robert Lang has joined the company as Director, Aia Software North America. Based out of Atlanta, Lang will help drive market development of ITP software to strengthen its position in the Southeast region of the United States. ITP Intelligent Text Processing Software from Aia provides the strategic output processing infrastructure that helps companies create documents and e-output from databases and application data. It can be fully integrated with any business application and data repository. “Robert will play a critical role as we continue our expansion in the North American market,” said Walter Gussman, VP and General Manager of Aia Software NorthAmerica. “He brings a powerful combination of proven sales experience with a deep knowledge of technical issues. Our wide base of insurance customers will especially benefit from Robert’s particular experience with HIPAA, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, as he works closely with them to identify business-enhancing solutions.” Lang brings extensive experience in business development to his new role, and in previous positions, he had responsibility for pre- and post-sales efforts, strategic business planning, and creation and management of sales teams. Lang has over 12 years of solid technical experience with a wide variety of applications including ERP, document imaging, workflow, custom portal solutions, systems analysis and design, application development, and business re-engineering for client/server workflow imaging systems. His background includes sales and technical positions with Northern Light Technology, FormScape, Unisys Corporation, FileNet, Price Waterhouse, and Lanier. “I am excited about this opportunity to bring ITP solutions to the marketplace,” said Lang. “The product line is unlike anything else in its class, and it will be an exciting responsibility to introduce its benefits to new customers and to help current customers take ITP to new levels.” Lang graduated from Western Carolina University with an M.B.A. and an Information Systems concentration, and a B.S.B.A. in Information Systems. He is also a Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA) and Certified Novell Engineer (CNE).
